Fried Corn (Sort of)
4 ears corn
4 T butter
1/2 c water
salt & pepper to taste
- Remove husks/silks from corn, wash, cut kernel off corn and scrap corn cob to get the "milk" out.
- Put the corn and butter in a medium skillet over a medium high heat.
- Cook & stir until butter is melted.
- Add the water.
- Let boil and reduce until a little buttery liquid remains.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
