Welcome

Welcome to my recipe blog. I created this blog so I could share my high calorie recipes. My daughter, Rachel, has CF and I'm always looking for recipes loaded with calories. I hope you see a recipe you'll want to try. Happy browsing.

Honey Butter & Chili Butter

Saturday I hosted a Chili Cook Off fundraiser for CF.  We had right at 20 guests.  It was so much fun. If you want to read about it you can do that by clicking here.  There were 9 Crock-pots of chili, chili fixins, hot dogs, and cornbread.  The cornbread leads us to the topic of this post.  Butter!  Since,  I was doin' it up Chili style for CF, regular ole' butter just wouldn't do.  I searched the net for recipes, but in the end I made up my own concoction.  I enjoyed both and it seemed the guests did too.
